Where a contest carries a prize, that prize is sponsored and funded by Bantasy and pre-announced before you enter. It's company-backed money for the sharpest predictors: a fixed amount in our own comps, and a fixed amount from a published table in the leagues members sponsor. Never a cut of entries, never a share of anyone's Bantasy Bucks.
Four things that are always true.
However a contest is set up, these hold for every prize on Bantasy.
Company-sponsored
Prizes are funded by Bantasy from our own resources. A prize is never a share of entrants' Bantasy Bucks, entries or fees.
Pre-announced
What a contest pays is published before you enter: a fixed amount in our own comps, and the published band table in a league someone sponsors.
Paid as cash
Winners are paid in cash by bank transfer after eligibility and identity verification, not in Bantasy Bucks, and never converted back to them.
Earned by skill
Only the winner, or a placing entrant under a published split, receives a prize. Skill score decides who that is.
Set in advance. Always published first.
Official Bantasy competitions
Competitions run by Bantasy carry a fixed, pre-announced prize amount per competition, published before you enter. The amount doesn't move with how many people join.
Leagues members sponsor
A member on a plan can sponsor one of their private leagues, and their mates then join free, play free and can win. For each monthly cycle Bantasy declares a fixed prize from a published table, set by how many members actually played that month. It never grows as people join, and nothing anyone buys moves it. See the prize rules for the table and the conditions, or how sponsored leagues work. It's funded by Bantasy, never a cut of, or a percentage of, entries.
- Never a cut of entries. The prize is not a pool of, or a percentage of, what entrants put in. It's sponsored by Bantasy.
- Entry amount changes nothing. Using more Bantasy Bucks to enter doesn't buy a bigger prize, a better placing or a better chance of winning.
- Splits published first. Where a prize is shared across placements (for example winner-takes-all or 80/20), the split is fixed and published before entry.
- Your mates never pay to win. In a league someone sponsors, everyone invited joins free, plays free and is eligible for the prize on the same terms as the host. No plan, no card, nothing at stake.
Claiming a prize.
We notify winners after results are finalised. Prizes are available in eligible regions only, and we may ask you to verify your identity, age and location before paying. Prize amounts and availability are set out in each contest's published rules and in the full prize rules.
