Refunds & cancellation
Short version. Playing Bantasy is free — you never have to pay. If you do subscribe or buy a Bantasy Bucks top-up, here's exactly how billing, cancellation and refunds work. None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Subscriptions
- How you're billed. Subscriptions (Mate, Pro and Creator) are billed in advance in Australian dollars (AUD) and renew automatically — monthly plans each month, annual plans each year — at the price shown on the Pricing page, until you cancel.
- How to cancel. Cancel anytime from the app's settings, or email admin@bantasy.co. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
- What happens when you cancel. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account moves to the free plan. We don't charge you again after you cancel.
- Refunds. Subscription fees already charged are generally non-refundable, including for partial periods after a cancellation. We'll always provide a refund or other remedy where the Australian Consumer Law requires it — for example if a paid feature isn't delivered as described.
- Price changes. If we change a subscription price, we'll tell you before it applies to a renewal, so you can cancel first if you don't want to continue.
Bantasy Bucks top-ups
- Bantasy Bucks (BB) are the in-app currency of Bantasy, with no cash value. They are non-redeemable, non-transferable, and can't be withdrawn or converted to cash (see the Bantasy Bucks page).
- Buying a top-up is optional and purely for convenience — you can earn Bantasy Bucks for free. Once a top-up is credited to your account it is generally non-refundable, because it's delivered immediately, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Bantasy Bucks expire 90 days after they're earned or purchased, on a rolling basis.
Billing problems
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or think something's wrong with a payment, email admin@bantasy.co and we'll sort it out. Genuine duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law, which apply in addition to this policy.
