First season - any rookie tips?

Joined Bantasy last week, trying not to embarrass myself in my mate's mini-league. What's the one thing experienced players always get right that beginners get wrong?

Don't take a hit just because someone scored last week. Form is a trap. Fixtures and minutes are the only things that compound.

Always set your captain even when you forget. Bantasy carries last week's captain through if you don't change it - which is fine until that player picks up a knock on the Friday.

Don't burn your free hit early. People panic in November. Wait for a proper double or blank in the back third of the season.
