Free Hit chip greyed out even though I haven't used it

Joined a competition mid-season. Free Hit is greyed out and says "unavailable". Definitely haven't used it - first competition I've joined. Web app, latest Chrome.

Am I missing something or is it a bug?

If you joined the comp after the chip cutoff GW the comp config disables it. Some leagues lock chips after GW20. Check the competition rules from the details screen.

Confirmed - this competition has Free Hit disabled after GW20 (set by the league commissioner). Working as designed but the tooltip is misleading. We're adding a clearer message in the next release: "Disabled by competition rules" instead of the generic "unavailable".
